幼儿期(PK-K)

Students in 学前班及幼稚园 explore 跳舞 through creative movement classes where they develop gross motor skills, 平衡, 和协调. Students in 三年级 are introduced to 跳舞 terminology and are able to identify the characteristics of specific genres, 风格, 或者是舞蹈文化. Students continue to explore movement problems by experimenting with a variety of stimuli individually and in small groups. Students will begin to gain an awareness of their bodies in 空间 and in relation to other 跳舞rs.
4级

Students in 4级 explore more complex choreography and experiment with tempo, 动力学, 和能源. Students will continue strengthening their fundamental 跳舞 skills and begin to understand movement quality 和艺术. Students will begin to appreciate 跳舞 as an art form and make connections between genres of 跳舞 and the 文化 they originated from.
五年级

The 五年级 fully-staged 音乐al play is the culmination of the Lower School 跳舞 and 音乐 program and an interdisciplinary project of the 跳舞, 音乐, 和戏剧系, 每个五年级的学生都参加. 通过这次经历, students learn to recall and execute a series of 跳舞 steps, adapt their movement from the studio to the stage, and develop safe movement practices that promote strength, 灵活性, 耐力, 以及伤害预防.

跳舞 courses in the Senior School are designed for beginner to advanced 跳舞rs, and present an opportunity for students with an interest in 跳舞 to further develop fundamental skills, 技术, 和艺术. Students are encouraged to begin their journey with Intro to 跳舞, 在继续其他课程之前.
